Soccer Recap: Somerset Comes Up Short

After flying high against Casey County on Saturday, Somerset came back down to earth. The Briar Jumpers fell just short of the Pulaski County Maroons by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Somerset in their meetings with Pulaski County: they've now lost three in a row.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-2. As for Pulaski County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Somerset nor Pulaski County have any future games scheduled.
