Volleyball Recap: Prescott Victorious

Prescott proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cactus Shadows Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Badgers have posted since March 21, 2024.

Prescott had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-21, 22-20.

Prescott now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Cactus Shadows, the loss snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 18-9 record.

Coincidentally, Prescott and Cactus Shadows will both be playing Tempe the next time they take the court. The Badgers will head out to face the Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
