Colville won the last time they faced Lakeside and Brock Benson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crimson Hawks walked away with a 35-28 victory over the Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Benson, who rushed for 134 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 46 yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.1 rushing yards per game.

Despite the loss, Lakeside still got an impressive performance from Tanner Cummings, who threw for 180 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 41 yards and one score. Kannon Almond also deserves some recognition as he hauled in his first receiving touchdown of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Colville and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.5 points over those games. As for Lakeside, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.

As of now, neither Colville nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
