Football Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Aliquippa's Winning Streak + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Aliquippa couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 28-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twin Valley Raiders on Friday. Despite 204 more yards than the Raiders, the Quips couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Marques Council Jr. threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Qa'Lil Goode was his top target, picking up 100 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Akiva Woods Jr rushed for 61 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Lucas Myers had a dynamite game For Twin Valley., rushing for 40 yards and three scores. Those 40 rushing yards gave Myers a new career-high.

With the defeat, Aliquippa broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4. As for Twin Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
