Soccer Recap: Knightdale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Knightdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wake Forest Cougars. While losing is never fun, Knightdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 419th, while Wake Forest are ranked 132nd).

Knightdale's goal came courtesy of Kevin Benevides-Serrano, which was the first he's scored this season.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Wake Forest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6-5.

Knightdale didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Heritage on the 20th. As for Wake Forest, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Franklinton on the 20th.
