Western Branch came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the King's Fork Bulldogs 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Western Branch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-23.

Elijah Quinata paced Western Branch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Quinata got some help from Nate Brownfield and his 25 assists. Marco Krueger controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Western Branch's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for King's Fork, they dropped their record down to 8-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
