Soccer Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Watertown came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Stone Memorial Panthers. While losing is never fun, Watertown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 278th, while Stone Memorial are ranked 91st).

Watertown dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stone Memorial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stone Memorial, they will challenge White County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
