McIntosh came out on top against Dutchtown on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Chiefs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Chiefs have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

McIntosh is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dutchtown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coming up, McIntosh will challenge Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dutchtown, they will take on Northgate at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
