Recap: Sunlake Seahawks vs. Chiles Timberwolves
The Sunlake Seahawks''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Chiles, falling 44-14. Sunlake was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.
Chiles got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was BB Potter out in front who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Ronnell Moses Jr was another key contributor, rushing for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Sunlake's loss was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.5 points per game. As for Chiles, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
