Football Recap: Breckenridge Buckaroos vs. Paradise Panthers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Breckenridge can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Paradise Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Buckaroos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Joseph Juneau threw for 40 yards on six of 17 attempts. Ryan Waller was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards. On the ground, Jaime Cruz rushed for 32 yards.
Paradise was led to victory by Luke Brown and Ayden Olalde. Brown gained 238 total yards, while Olalde rushed for 36 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Olalde has posted since back in November of 2024.
Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Paradise, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
