Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fort Bend Bush's offense. They fell just short of Fort Bend Hightower by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ridge Point waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 2-0 shutout. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Tigers are ranked 344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridge Point pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight games. As for Fort Bend Bush, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
