Football Game Preview: Beau Chene vs. St. Martinville

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Martinville. They will challenge Beau Chene on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. St. Martinville know how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Beau Chene like a good challenge.

Last Friday, St. Martinville put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Opelousas 40-7. St. Martinville are sitting pretty right now with eight consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, we expected Beau Chene to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Livonia, and they did. Beau Chene suffered a grim 6-39 defeat to Livonia. Beau Chene's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it eight losses in a row.

St. Martinville took their contest against Beau Chene the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 52-31 score.
