While Southern Wells didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Eastbrook Panthers on Wednesday. Landon Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. Looking ahead, Southern Wells is taking a road trip to square off against South Adams at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastbrook, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Northfield on the 17th.
