Baseball Recap: Bend Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Bend's win against Crook County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lava Bears skirted past the Cowboys 9-8. Winning may never get old, but the Lava Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bend let Kaden Cooper and Quentin Romney run wild. Cooper went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Romney went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Cooper has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Cooper, who earned one RBI and two runs.

Bend's record now sits at 10-4. As for Crook County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Bend will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cowboys: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:35 p.m. on Friday.
