Baseball Recap: Bristol-Plymouth RVT Drops Season-High Score on Southeastern RVT

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bristol-Plymouth RVT). They put the hurt on the Southeastern RVT Hawks with a sharp 15-1 win on Monday. With that victory, the Craftsmen brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT got a big performance out of Kyle Weldon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Antonio Cirino was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Bristol-Plymouth RVT and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Southeastern RVT, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
