Webb entered their tilt with Magnolia Science Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

One reason for the win was Webb's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-9.

Leading Webb to victory were Gianna Rabida and Keeley Cheung. Rabida had six digs and five aces, while Cheung had five kills and four aces. Rabida is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Webb was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.

Webb's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Magnolia Science Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Webb will venture away from home to challenge Calvary Chapel on Tuesday. Magnolia Science Academy has already played their next contest (against Avalon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
