Soccer Game Preview: Cheatham County Central vs. White House-Heritage

The Cheatham County Central Cubs are taking a road trip to take on the White House-Heritage Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cheatham County Central was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Hickman County, sneaking past 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, White House-Heritage was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor Christian Community could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Cheatham County Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matchups. White House-Heritage's draw gives them a new season record of 3-9-2.

Cheatham County Central suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to White House-Heritage when the teams last played back in May of 2017. Can the Cubs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
