Volleyball Recap: Warren Falls Short of Stockton in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warren can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Stockton Blackhawks on Monday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Kaylee Hartzell and Sophie Leverton, who picked up two kills apiece. They were helped by Mayci Mullen and Averi Sabinson, who contributed two assists each.

Stockton found their leader in sophomore Natalee Sullivan, who had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Sullivan.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 4-26-3. As for Stockton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-5.

Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stockton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Dakota on the 29th.
