Brighton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Oilers, too.

Brighton easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 24-5-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-5-1.

Brighton has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Christian on the 11th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stevenson on the 11th.
