It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Hoggard ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Ashley Screaming Eagle a 3-0 shutout. Hoggard might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Ashley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Kamaris, Nash Gould, and Harrison Dyer.

Hoggard's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven contests. As for Ashley, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4-3.
