Baseball Game Preview: Marshfield Rams vs. Duxbury Dragons

The Marshfield Rams will face off against the Duxbury Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Marshfield comes in on four and Duxbury on three.

Marshfield took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Hanover, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams skirted past the Hawks 7-5. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Duxbury). Everything went their way against Bristol-Plymouth RVT on Monday as they made off with a 15-3 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Duxbury's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Marshfield, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
