Basketball Recap: Tascosa Takes a Loss

Tascosa came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates by a score of 52-50 on Tuesday. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Tascosa's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Lubbock-Cooper, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.

Tascosa will square off against Palo Duro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Palo Duro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they will take on Monterey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
