Soccer Game Preview: Parkrose vs. La Salle

Parkrose hasn't had much luck against La Salle recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Broncos will look to defend their home pitch against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Parkrose managed to slip by Wilsonville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Broncos came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Parkrose can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Wilsonville are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, La Salle hasn't lost a match since September 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Centennial finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, La Salle's record moves to 9-1-3. As for Parkrose, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
