Football Game Preview: Waseca Bluejays vs. Luverne Cardinals

The Waseca Bluejays will host the Luverne Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Waseca comes in on nine and Luverne on three.

Waseca is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] 21-0. 21 seems to be a good number for the Bluejays as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Luverne took on Albert Lea on Saturday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-0.

Waseca's record now sits at 9-0. As for Luverne, their record is now 8-2.
