The Pawnee Heights Tigers suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 77-47 loss at the hands of Satanta. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Pawnee Heights has suffered against Satanta since January 15, 2016.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Leighton Munk, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Munk has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Davin Hamby, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Pawnee Heights are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. As for Satanta, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
Pawnee Heights will be playing at home against Ashland at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Ashland has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Satanta, they will take on Prairie Heights at TBD on Tuesday. Prairie Heights is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
