Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against North Medford back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Liberty Falcons took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Medford Black Tornado. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Easton Curtis, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds for North Medford. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Medford, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Liberty will head out to challenge Sandy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Medford, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
