Haley Caldwell leads a balanced attack to beat Lake Howell

Recap: University Cougars vs. Lake Howell Silver Hawks
The University Cougars's five-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Howell and snuck past 50-47. The victory was just what University needed coming off of a 60-35 loss in their prior game.
University got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Haley Caldwell out in front who scored 14 points. Laura Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
University's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Lake Howell, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
University will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Nona at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Nona is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Lake Howell, they will head out on the road to face off against Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boone will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
