Basketball Recap: Sky View Starts off Right with Win over Bonneville

Sky View had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 71-65 W over the Bonneville Lakers. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won five in a row.

Zachary Oxborrow went supernova, going 9-for-14 on his way to 22 points and eight boards. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blake Wallis, who posted four points and seven rebounds.

Bonneville dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Sky View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-43 win against Box Elder on the 2nd. As for Bonneville, they have also already played their next game, a 57-49 loss against Manti on the 3rd.
