Basketball Recap: Kyleigh Ramos Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Village Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freedom Christian Academy, Northwood Temple Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 42-22 margin over the Village Christian Academy Knights. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Northwood Temple Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyleigh Ramos, who posted 18 points and five steals. Northwood Temple Academy is 2-1 when Ramos posts three or more steals, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Treasure Whitted, who had 13 points.

Northwood Temple Academy will challenge Berean Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Village Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fayetteville Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
