Ascent Classical Academy won the last time they faced STEM School Highlands Ranch and things went their way on Saturday too. The Guardians took their matchup with ease, bagging a 51-8 win over the Spartans.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ascent Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Johnson, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 20 points and six steals. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least six every time she's taken the court this season. Charlotte Trouba was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Ascent Classical Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
