Paul VI extended the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Constitution this week by beating Winslow Township, 14-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Moorestown suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 26-25 loss to Cherry Hill East. The Quakers had been ranked 15th, but fell to 36 following the defeat.
Moorestown's dynamic duo of Tyreek Robinson and Brandon Hammons proved tough for the Cougars to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Robinson threw for 79 yards and one touchdown and Hammons had 68 yards receiving. Dallas Clark helped Moorestown's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
Dior Hightower was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 185 yards as Paul VI fell to Cherry Hill East. Faheem Boyd also contributed to the rushing game with 15 yards on the ground.
Thanks to the talents of Alec Vignola and Hightower John Doherty's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Vignola leads the league in passing with 625 yards, while Hightower has rushed for 396 yards this season. The Quakers' Sidney Ruffin leads the league in receiving yards with 215 on nine catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Timber Creek Regional takes on Moorestown. At the moment, the Chargers are in fourth, while the Quakers are in second.
Camden Catholic took down Woodrow Wilson 35-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
