Hoover has gone a perfect 4-0 against St. Francis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Buccaneers will face off against the Knights at 8:30 p.m. Hoover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully St. Francis likes a good challenge.

If Hoover beats St. Francis with 63 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Buccaneers came out on top against Miami Country Day by a score of 63-50 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, St. Francis got the win against Grovetown on Friday by a conclusive 70-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

St. Francis' win came from a few key players Hoover will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cam Golston, who posted 17 points and five assists. Peyton Mann was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six assists and three steals.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hoover was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Francis in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, winning 62-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
