Volleyball Recap: Indiana Math & Science Academy North Comes Up Short

Indiana Math & Science Academy North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Christel House Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-15.

Leading Christel House to victory were Alyssa Schultz and Lizbeth Perez. Schultz had eight kills, seven aces, four digs, and one block, while Perez had six aces and three digs. Those four digs gave Schultz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Reaves, who had five digs and five aces.

Indiana Math & Science Academy North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Christel House, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Indiana Math & Science Academy North will face off against Tindley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christel House, they will square off against MTI School of Knowledge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
