Basketball Recap: Palm Grove Christian Comes Up Short

Palm Grove Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 77-23 loss at the hands of the Parrish Community Bulls. The Gators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-11.

Carson Miller and Jeremiah Pitts certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Miller posted eight points, while Pitts scored six points.

Palm Grove Christian now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Parrish Community, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Palm Grove Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 84-31 victory against West Gate Christian Academy on the 16th. Parrish Community will take on Bayshore in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
