Unity not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2025 (when they won 19-9). Everything went their way against the Ladysmith Lumberjacks as they made off with an 11-1 victory. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Archer Chell spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Xavier Nadeau and Uriah Fugate did most of the damage at the plate: Nadeau went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Fugate went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Fugate a new career-high. William Olson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Unity's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Ladysmith, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Unity will head out to take on St. Croix Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ladysmith, they will be playing at home against Ashland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
