Football Recap: Franklin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Franklin and Bay Port squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Franklin had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Pirates and fell 42-13. The Sabers were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the three games prior), but the Pirates' defense proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin fell to 11-1. As for Bay Port, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bay Port, they will face off against Muskego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pirates 14.9, the Warriors 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
