Basketball Game Preview: Chetopa Hornets vs. Yates Center Wildcats

Chetopa is 0-8 against Yates Center since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Chetopa Hornets are taking a road trip to face off against the Yates Center Wildcats. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Chetopa is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were dealt an 80-38 loss at the hands of Marmaton Valley. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Yates Center fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Altoona-Midway on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 48-40 to the Jets. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Yates Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Chetopa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
