Mendota is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Sherrard on Friday. The Trojans snuck past the Tigers with a 14-10 win.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Kewanee's offense. They took a blow against Hall on Friday, falling 44-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Boilermakers were not able to get on the board.
