Volleyball Recap: Meade Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Meade lost against Severna Park back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

Meade was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-22.

Severna Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Frances Santiago-Cruz led the charge by getting six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Santiago-Cruz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jennifer Hong, who had seven digs and three aces.

Meade's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Severna Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Meade will venture away from home to take on Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Severna Park, they will square off against Old Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
