The Berean Academy Eagle had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against Temple Baptist Academy by a score of 62-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Berean Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Austen Harvey was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 25 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Colton Ware was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Berean Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Temple Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Berean Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oakwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. Temple Baptist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maryville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
