Basketball Recap: Eastbrook Academy Takes a Loss

Eastbrook Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 88-36 to Tenor, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tenor this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 87-63 back in January.

Tenor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Larell Davis, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 30 points. Thanks to that strong game, Davis now owns an excellent 46.5% shooting accuracy. Shane Emanuel was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds.

Eastbrook Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Tenor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Eastbrook Academy will challenge Cristo Rey Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tenor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
