Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Faith Christian

Faith Christian had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Riverbend Academy Warriors 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Faith Christian was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-10.

Faith Christian found their leader in sophomore Jaelyn Rodriguez, who had 12 digs and three aces.

Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Faith Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Riverbend Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will host Central Pointe Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverbend Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Florida Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
