Recap: North Forrest Eagles vs. Richton Rebels
The North Forrest Eagles lost against the Richton Rebels back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North Forrest's tough 52-28 loss to Richton might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Forrest in their matchups with Richton: they've now lost three in a row.
Dakota Amos was his usual excellent self, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and six rebounds for Richton. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Shepard, who scored nine points.
North Forrest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Richton, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forrest will take on Pisgah at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Puckett at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Richton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
