Football Recap: Paige Balducci and Fia Dickson Lead the Defense for Aliso Niguel Win

The Aliso Niguel Wolverines were able to grind out a solid win over the Corona del Mar Sea Kings on Wednesday, taking the game 26-18. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

The critical scores for Aliso Niguel came from Paige Balducci, Cambria Kaminski, and Paige Russell.

Aliso Niguel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Balducci and Fia Dickson.

Aliso Niguel now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Corona del Mar, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aliso Niguel will face off against Saint Joseph at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wolverines 13.4, the Jesters 3.5) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Corona del Mar, they will square off against Newport Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
