Basketball Game Preview: New Auburn Trojans vs. Luck Cardinals

New Auburn has gone a perfect 3-0 against Luck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. Luck took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on New Auburn, who comes in off a win.

New Auburn proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 26) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over Gilman.

Luck kicked off their season on the road last Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against Unity, falling 44-17. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

New Auburn strolled past Luck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 42-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
