Basketball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Starts Season with Loss at Home

Georgetown-Ridge Farm unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Martinsville Bluestreaks by a score of 57-54 on Monday. The Buffaloes were up 52-35 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Looking ahead, Georgetown-Ridge Farm will take on Arcola in a tournament on Friday. As for Martinsville, they will face off against Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
