Basketball Recap: Colville Falls Despite Big Games from Parker Darnold and Brock Benson

Colville lost against Lakeside last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colville Crimson Hawks lost to the Lakeside Eagles on the road by a 59-41 margin.

Colville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brock Benson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards, and Parker Darnold, who posted ten points and three steals. Those 12 rebounds gave Benson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckavry Maddox, who had eight points and five boards.

Colville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lakeside, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Colville has already played their next matchup, an 81-44 loss against Riverside on the 31st. As for Lakeside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-43 victory against Medical Lake on the 31st.
