Football Recap: Kamari Holloman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tift County over Camden County + How To Watch

Tift County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-21 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camden County Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 38-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Tift County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kamari Holloman, who rushed for 141 yards and two scores. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game. Dai'Jon Hayes also helped out with an impressive 141 receiving yards.

William Jackson had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 254 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 31 yards for Camden County. Jackson's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. Parks Riendeau was another key player, picking up 41 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tift County's record now sits at 3-7. As for Camden County, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4.

As of now, neither Tift County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
