Football Recap: Ocala Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ocala Christian can now relate to. They lost to the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons on the road by a 36-22 margin on Thursday. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Ocala Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Ocala Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, they will square off against Merritt Island Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Cougars' defense has only allowed seven points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
