Volleyball Recap: Mason City Takes a Loss

Mason City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Janesville Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mohawks of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Mason City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Janesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Mason City will take on Marshalltown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Janesville, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Grundy Center on the 20th.
